At Booking Experts and within our online marketing team Booking Boosters, we believe the best ideas emerge when people truly have the freedom to grow, take initiative and pioneer. That’s why Booking  Boosters has been operating under a cell‑structure for three years: our multidisciplinary team of over 40 online marketers is divided into small, independent, self-managing teams - or “cells” - each with its own goals and responsibilities.

Despite the linear growth of Booking Boosters, this organizational structure leaves plenty of room for each individual. At the same time, we maintain a flat, accessible way of working.

Every month, the cells report to the Head of Booking Boosters on metrics such as results, staff, productivity, opportunities and risks. Our team leads share their experiences and insights with one another, so cells remain independent, yet stay connected and aware of what’s going on. The key question is always: “How do we ensure everything runs smoothly, even though everyone works independently?”

If a cell becomes too large or the team notices collaboration becoming less smooth, we grow toward a new cell. A new team lead is trained from within the existing team, so both resulting teams remain manageable and agile.

This way, Booking  Boosters continues to grow, without losing the supportive character and flexibility that make us so strong.

Multidisciplinary client teams

Since this year, we have also introduced multidisciplinary client teams. These are teams composed of people with different areas of expertise who work together around one client or goal. Instead of having all knowledge distributed over separate departments, everything is combined in one team that is jointly responsible for the result.
