COMING SOON: Our People & Organisation team has been working hard on a framework that helps us build a future where growth is more transparent, structured and accessible for everyone.

Three building blocks🧩

To support growth and development, we’re going to introduce a framework that consists of three building blocks. Together, these building blocks help employees understand what their role involves, which skills they need to develop and what steps they can take to move to another role within Booking Experts:

1. Job Framework: A clear overview of roles, responsibilities and possible growth paths within the organisation. This framework groups roles into clear levels and responsibilities, so employees can see how different roles relate to each other and what steps are needed to move to the next level.

2. Skill Navigator: To support development conversations and skill growth, we’re going to use the Skill Navigator in StudyTube (our Learning Management System). This tool allows employees to assess their current skills and identify specific skills they need to improve or learn in order to grow in their role.

3. Salary Framework: A transparent and fair compensation structure that will align with roles, responsibilities, and development levels across the organisation.

As a result, these building blocks will create more clarity and structure around development and growth, making it easier to navigate your career at Booking Experts.

Why are we doing this? Building for the future

As our organisation evolves, clarity becomes even more important. Our employees want to understand what is expected of them, how they can develop and what opportunities lie ahead.

With this framework, we want employees to clearly see what is expected in their role, what they need to learn, and what opportunities exist to move into another role. It focuses on three areas:

Clarity: We’re creating a more structured approach to roles and responsibilities. Clear job profiles and transparent expectations help bring consistency across the organisation, including fair and consistent compensation.

Development: Employees will be able to see which skills they already have and which skills they need to develop in order to move to the next role or level. At the same time, managers get better tools to guide development conversations and support career growth.

Insights: By clearly defining roles and responsibilities, we can identify which skills employees already have and where additional training or development may be needed. This also helps us offer tailored training and development opportunities to our employees.
