In this role as a Frontend Engineer, you will work together with your team on a scalable and advanced all-in-one reservation system for holiday parks that needs to handle high traffic at any time of the day. As a Frontend Engineer, you will support the rest of the team in building interfaces by further developing the Booking Experts Design System.

Every day our team of experienced engineers works on a scalable and advanced booking platform for holiday parks. With us you will find specialisms such as backend, frontend, full stack and DevOps.

Our solutions enable recreation companies to automate and optimize their booking processes, allowing them to realize more direct bookings and increase guest satisfaction. In this way we help vacation parks across the board with automation and digitalization. We develop various functionalities such as:

• BEX PMS: For managing all back office operations.

• Search and Book: For stimulating direct bookings through the website.

• BEX CMS: For building user-friendly websites that are seamlessly integrated with our PMS.

• Business Intelligence: Advanced dashboards for making data-driven decisions.

Valued qualities

You have in-depth knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, with significant experience in these areas. Ideally, you also have backend affinity. You can perform major UI refactors independently while understanding project interdependencies and combining them when feasible. Familiar with all system components, you guide engineers toward effective solutions.

You recognize multiple problem-solving approaches and prioritize solutions that balance technical and human needs. By understanding user groups, you translate their needs into effective interfaces. Open-minded and approachable, you offer advice on interface building and provide constructive, motivating feedback.

Your skills:

• Minimum HBO-level education or equivalent.
• Affinity with the backend (ideally Ruby).
• Ability to independently perform major UI refactors.
• Understanding of relationships between projects.
• Recognizing multiple approaches to problem-solving.
• Open to insights and constructive conversations.
• Approachable for interface-building advice.
