In March, everything at Booking Experts revolves around 'Level Up', a theme that reflects growth, ownership and stepping into new responsibilities.
This month also connects with our annual knowledge event, Embrace, where we come together with customers, partners and colleagues to share knowledge and look ahead. Growth doesn’t happen in isolation: it happens when we learn, collaborate and challenge ourselves.
In this blog, we highlight colleagues who recently stepped into Team Lead roles. They made the decision to take ownership, expand their impact and embrace responsibility.

Yessie – Team Lead Booking Boosters
How long have you been with BEX and what is your current role?
''I've been working at BEX/Booking Boosters for 4 years. Since last November, I’ve been a Team Lead, and together with Lisa I lead one of the teams within Booking Boosters.”
What do you enjoy most about working at BEX?
“There is so much happening here. Every day brings new opportunities and developments. There is a lot of space to bring in your own ideas. I also really value the atmosphere and collaboration with colleagues working toward goals together. Teamwork!”🙌
Why did you choose to become a Team Lead?
“I’ve always had the ambition to grow within Booking Boosters. This felt like a great next step and the perfect opportunity to further develop myself.”
What are your goals for this year?
“I want to contribute to the further development of the team and improve our processes. At the same time, I want to help maintain a positive work environment so we can achieve better results together.”
Advice for colleagues with leadership ambitions?
“Start with self-awareness. What are your strengths? Where do you still want to grow? Have conversations and actively work on your development. And remember: you don’t need a title to show leadership. Take responsibility and think in solutions.”
Sil– Team Lead Recreational Real Estate
How long have you been with BEX and what is your current role?
“I’ve been working at Booking Boosters since June 2023 and recently became Team Lead for Recreational Real Estate.”
What do you enjoy most about your work?
“The colleagues, the customers, and the variety. No day is the same. Because of the development of our team and the market, I learn something new every day.”
Why did you become a Team Lead?
“To further develop myself and contribute more strategically to the growth of our team.”
What is your focus this year?
“Since November, we’ve gone from two teams to one. Our biggest goal is to grow closer together, align our working methods and deliver even better results for our customers.”💪
Advice for future Team Leads?
“Show up, keep your promises, and be open with your team. Trust is the basis of good leadership.”
Moniek – Team Lead Onboarding
“Three years ago, I started at Booking Experts as an Onboarding Specialist. Since this year, I’ve been Team Lead Onboarding.”
What gives you energy in your work?
“The enthusiastic and driven colleagues. That’s what gives me energy.”
Why did you choose a leadership role?
“It’s my passion to share knowledge, help others grow and achieve goals together.”
What are your goals this year?
“To make the onboarding process as efficient and smooth as possible. New users should feel so positive about BEX that they recommend us to others.”
Your advice?
“Set clear goals for yourself. Leadership is not about a title: it’s about influence, mindset and strengthening the people around you.”😊
Iris – Team Lead Customer Support
How long have you been with BEX and what is your current role?
“I’ve been working at BEX since January 2023. I started as a trainee in Customer Success and still work within the Customer Success team.''
What do you enjoy most about your work?
“The variety between Customer Success and the contact with our users. I get to know our users digitally and then meet them in person at events. That makes the work personal and dynamic.”
Why did you choose a Team Lead role?
“I’ve always had the ambition to take on a leadership role. Over the past three years, I’ve built strong product knowledge. In this role, I can transfer that knowledge and build a structured, scalable team.”
What is your ambition?
“We want to make the team scalable and clearly positioned alongside support and onboarding. The goal is to build a strong, structured and independent team toward 2026.”🎯
