Product Manager
Analytical, empathetic and pragmatic? Transform the recreation industry by developing innovative solutions that truly meet the needs of our users.
Are you the strategist who turns complex problems into user-friendly solutions? At Booking Experts, we're building the future of the recreation industry with our all-in-1 reservation system. As Product Manager, you'll be part of the Product & Engineering Team and take responsibility for the entire development journey: from discovery to delivery. You're an all-round product manager who thinks strategically and executes hands-on: from user research to wireframes, from stakeholder management to guiding implementation together with software engineers.
A day as Product Manager
Here's what your workday looks like:
08:30 | Focus Time: You're responsible for managing your own agenda and start the day with a moment of reflection to establish priorities. This daily focus ensures your time and energy are optimally deployed for the most important projects.
09:00 | User Research: You analyse the results of recent user interviews and surveys. Based on the insights, you identify the key pain points and needs of recreation businesses that you're going to address.
10:30 | Discovery Session: You consult with software engineers and the product designer about a new project for BEX PMS. Together you determine the relevance and priority, and sketch the first wireframes for possible solutions.
12:00 | Team Lunch: Time to unwind with the team. A healthy lunch, a quick walk and catching up in our informal atmosphere.
13:30 | Flow Optimisation: After lunch, you work on refining journey maps for the search-and-book functionality. You write clear UX copy and ensure every step in the flow is logical and user-friendly.
15:30 | Stakeholder Communication: You present the progress of ongoing projects to various stakeholders. You communicate clearly about decisions and expectations, ensuring everyone is aligned.
16:30 | Reflection & Planning: The day is done. You review today's successes, update your to-do list and anticipate tomorrow's agenda. This way you always maintain control over your own work.

Who are you?
We like to keep it to the core:
Education & Foundation: You have at least a HBO level of working and thinking, are ambitious and get energy from solving complex user problems. You possess analytical thinking skills and effortlessly switch between strategic thinking and practical execution. You create journey maps, wireframes and conduct product research based on data.
Multidisciplinary Skills: You have experience with design tools such as Figma and Balsamiq, and confidently conduct user interviews and surveys. Working based on user insights comes naturally to you: you're good at identifying problems and coming up with pragmatic solutions. Additionally, you're curious, learn quickly and pick things up independently.
Professional Attitude: In stakeholder contact, you act as a professional conversation partner with strong listening skills. You understand the balance between technical aspects and human interests, and manage expectations with tact. Even when things get busy, you maintain overview and set the right priorities.
Most importantly: you're looking for a versatile, friendly and innovative workplace where freedom is central and you get plenty of growth opportunities.
What do you bring?
You're a true team player who gets energy from achieving concrete improvements for end users. With your empathetic ability, you immediately put yourself in the shoes of holiday park owners and see opportunities to improve the user experience. You find it a great challenge to oversee and solve complex problems.
You have a helicopter view, communicate clearly and take pride in ownership over the development of our platform. You see this role as a great opportunity to make an impact and you're ambitious enough to quickly take on responsibility within our close-knit team. You have at least two years of experience as a Product Manager and have a good command of the English language.
